Joran van Aart - Director of Student Value

Joran leads the Student Value team, responsible for all aspects related to growing the value of StudyPortals towards students. With its roots in the international student community, StudyPortals commits to be the best study choice platform for anyone interested in studying in Europe.

This team works not only to maintain the leading position of StudyPortals, but also to keep on increasing its value towards students. Responsibilities include product innovation, portfoltio strategy, information quality, website content, student marketing and communication with prospective students.

Joran works closely with stakeholders from various backgrounds: the European Commission, national agencies, international student associations, scholarship providers, university staff and in general many organisations encouraging international study mobility and promoting Europe as study destination.

Joran holds an MSc. in Industrial Design, forming a multi-disciplinary foundation with an expertise in developing user-focused products and services. As part hereof, he worked at a premier design firm in Melbourne, Australia and later on with a research group at the University of Surrey, UK. At StudyPortals, he is motivated to enable others to have a similar, tremendous international study experience.
